Since 2018, the Red Box Project Niagara, has been partnering with local businesses to collect period product donations from the Niagara community. Products are then placed in elementary and secondary schools to ensure no student goes without the proper menstrual items. Periods are a biological function, and the inability to afford products is a frustrating reality for millions worldwide. We have advocated to Niagara school boards for funding and to supply menstrual items within their schools.
Students are unable to learn when they are worrying about their periods. Accessible periods are a pillar of equity, health, and equality.
We are a completely inclusive team, all striving for the same end goal. We want you to feel supported and seen both within the organization and in the period advocacy community.
