Young Carers Program Volunteer

We have relaxed criteria for posting volunteer opportunities due to the urgent need for COVID-19 Response. Volunteers are responsible for confirming the legitimacy of the group or organization(s) they are working with. Never hand over money or confidential information to groups looking for volunteers.

DESCRIPTION

Serving young carers aged 5-18, these energetic programs offer a variety of sports, crafts, group games, and many other activities with a focus on self-care, coping skills and having fun! Volunteers will help lead activities and create a safe and fun environment during these programs.

We run different programs each month and facilitate a full week of programming over March Break and two weeks of summer camp. So we are looking for some awesome volunteers to join our team!

Suitable for: Students 20 years of age and over, adults of all ages, anyone passionate about working with children living in vulnerable conditions. It is ideal for individuals who have previously worked in a camp setting or have previously worked with children and youth.
