Volunteer Trauma Therapist

DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients
- Provide trauma specific interventions using an AOP lenses
- Uses a trauma informed approach in therapy
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary
- Maintain records as per regulatory and accrediting agencies

Requirements:
- BSW, MSW or registered psychotherapist
- Experience or interest in working with gender based violence victims
- Criminal background check/vulnerable sector check

Looking for a psychotherapist or BSW/MSW individual who would like to donate some of their time to supporting survivors of human trafficking within the GTA. Any amount of time is appreciated and we appreciate your support in the rehabilitation of victims into survivors.
