The Toronto Botanical Garden (TBG) volunteer receptionist group needs some new members for their float team.
The reception team is one with a high level of interaction with visitors to the Toronto Botanical Garden. A volunteer receptionist deals with the public in person and on the phone, registers people for TBG courses and signs up new members. It is an enjoyable role with interest and variety. Training with an experienced volunteer receptionist will be provided. The floater team are fully trained members of the group who assist by covering shifts that become open (due to holiday, other absences from the regular volunteer for that shift). In order to keep skills and knowledge up to date members of the floater team are invited to assist with a shift every 3-4 weeks or so. Shifts are 4 hours in duration and could be weekend or weekday depending on what shift needs help.Volunteers with weekend availability particularly needed.
