DESCRIPTION

Program Support Assistant Volunteer provides support and assistance with the implementation of various activation programs within a group setting.

Responsibilities:
Assist seniors with program tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the activity program.
Assist the Activation Department with activity preparations (E.g. activity seating arrangement, equipment set-up, etc.).

Requirements of Role and Screening:
18 years of age or older.
Fully vaccinated.
Ability to communicate and speak effectively in English, Cantonese or Mandarin.
Able to attend additional training.
Satisfactory Volunteer Application process includes Vulnerable Sector Screening and Volunteer Health Screening.

Commitment and Locations:
Monday to Sunday, 3 to 4-hour shifts or as assigned.
Minimum commitment of 6 months.

Benefits:
Entitled to have one lunch/dinner box per 3 hours of continuous service.
Regular continuing education and volunteer support sessions available.
Eligible for our volunteer recognition programs.
