The Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO) champions childhood cancer care. When a child is battling cancer, we ensure that the child has lifelong access to the best care for the best possible outcomes. POGO leads a unique and impactful pediatric cancer network that is a model for Canada and the world.

POGO is seeking passionate and motivated Ambassadors who will promote POGO and build a network of childhood cancer champions in your community.

Responsibilities Include:

 Build brand awareness of POGO’s services, mission in your community

 Create your own network of POGO supporters by connecting with groups and individuals in your community who are interested in supporting a great cause

 Ways to do this:

  •  Organize a Pajamas and Pancakes event at your school, workplace or within the community (www.pjsandpancakes.com)
  •  Get creative – host and create your own event in support of POGO
  •  Work with POGO to advertise their programs in your neighbourhood (materials provided)
  •  Share information about POGO and their programs on social media platforms

Benefits: Learn new fundraising, event and marketing skills from coaching provided by your POGO representative

 Enjoy a volunteer role with a high level of autonomy and flexibility

 Build on communication, organization and leadership skills

 Connect and network with like-minded individuals from throughout the province
