DESCRIPTION

A facilitator must be 18 years of age or older and:

Have experienced a loss and is able to share that lived experience in a positive manner with others.

Is able to demonstrate the following traits: compassion, social inclusion, integrity, non-judgmental, adaptability, self-disclosure, co-operations and self-management.

Must commit to an online and in-class (currently done virtually through COVID-19) volunteer facilitator training if selected as a successful applicant.

Assesses self readiness prior to applying.
