COVID-19 notes:
The Global Youth Challenge (GYC) is a not-for-profit organization that provides an international forum for youth to think creatively, present their perspectives, and consider solutions to our world's challenges.
Our annual contest, The GYC 2021: World Peace, is coming up on Feb. 16, 2021. We are looking for volunteers. As a volunteer, you will promote the contest using your promotion channels(e.g., website, youtube, linked,Wechat) with general or customized flyers. You will develop your leadership skills and also gain volunteer hours. In appreciation of your support, we will issue you a participant certificate.
The GYC contest will live stream through youtube and other related media. This past June,close to 1000 youth from 28 different countries participated in the GYC 2020: COVID-19. We expect 3000 youth to participate in the GYC 2021: World Peace. Your support would be essential for us to reach the goal.
Final entries for the final competition will be selected by representatives from Waterloo University, Brock University, and the Erindale Academy. The judging panel members are professors and scholars from the University of Toronto, Yale University, University of Waterloo, Queen's University, and Toronto Central Academy.
