York West Active Living Centre is a community based resource centre for persons 55 year of age and older residing in Toronto. Our mission is to promote, encourage and support healthy, indipendent living through a wide range of health and wellness programs, educational workshop and multicultural activity.
Working with older adults is an experience that can enrich your resume, as well as your personal life.
We are looking for a volunteer to help with the preparation of light lunch, serving at the table and clean up. No experience is necessary, full training will be provided.
We need volunteers every Tuesday OR Thursday, between 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Light lunch is provided to our Kitchen volunteers.
We are located at 1901 Weston Road, at Weston and Lawrence. Easy to reach by TTC. Free parking available.
