COVID-19 notes:
Foster puppy raisers are responsible for raising a puppy for 12-18 months in your home with the intent of becoming a service dog to a child with autism.
Puppy Raisers take care of the puppies training and socializing as well as following health guidelines and transportation to the veterinarian for medical appointments.
Volunteers may be located in a variety of locations including: Guelph, Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge or Hamilton but you must be available to attend puppy training classes every other week in either Cambridge or Guelph.
Applicants must also be able to commit the necessary time and resources to the training and socializing required for the puppy during it's time with the volunteer.
