About Hope Air
Hope Air is a unique national charity that helps Canadians get to medical treatment when they cannot afford to pay for their flights. For many people, the cost of travelling to medical care presents a prohibitive financial challenge. Since 1986, we have proudly arranged more than 100,000 flights nationwide. We operate with a small staff, but are supported by a large complement of volunteers.
Reporting to the Client Care Director, the Client Care volunteer works on the front-line of what we do, interacting directly with clients, healthcare professionals and other interested parties to help Canadians in need access our flight service.
Tasks and Responsibilities
We seek the following skills in our volunteers:
Hours are flexible, with a weekly shift of 3 hours. We ask that you commit to volunteering for a minimum of 3 months. Please note volunteering takes place in our office, conveniently located at Yonge and Davisville, anytime between 10 am-7:30 pm Monday-Friday.
