Anime Art Volunteer Instructor

Volunteer Duties:
• Help youth express themselves by creating fun and interesting
anime art activities
• Co-facilitate anime art activities over Instagram Live or Zoom.
• Connect/socialize with youth during activities and foster a positive, inclusive and stimulating environment
• Help staff with planning and delivering activities, as necessary

Skills Required:
• Must have an art and design background in anime
• Experience working with youth is an asset
• Experience using Zoom and Instagram is required
• Must have excellent English speaking skills
• Must be friendly, open, reliable, patient, non-judgmental and non-discriminating
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must have cross-cultural sensitivity
• Must be committed to lead the group

Orientation & Training:
• Staff provide orientation when volunteer starts
• Staff provide on-going support

Program Time:
• Available weekday evening(s), however specific time to be discussed when recruited
• A commitment of 1 to 3 sessions is required
