DESCRIPTION

Volunteer Scheduling Assistant (PT or FT)

10 - 35 hours/week - morning, evening & weekend shifts available

Qualifications:
• Must have access to a cell phone and computer during scheduled hours.
• Must speak and write fluent English. French and/or Spanish an asset.
• Must have relevant past work experience or be currently enrolled in or hold a degree/diploma from a post-secondary school.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as first responder to general inquiries
• Schedule volunteer mentors to participate in webinars and provide one-on-one tech-support using an automated scheduling system
• Be available to schedule yourself in if no suitable mentor is available
• Review senior feedback surveys and mentor reports and flag any concerns for the Telephone Tech Support Manager
• Compile data and feedback reports to share at weekly staff meetings

Volunteer Outreach Agent (PT or FT)

10 – 35 hours/week – Business Hours

Qualifications:
• Must have access to a computer during scheduled hours.
• Must speak and write fluent English. French and/or Spanish an asset.
• Must be currently enrolled in or hold degree/diploma in a post-secondary school.

Responsibilities:
• Carry out research and create targeted outreach lists under the direction of the Outreach Supervisor
• Send emails to outreach targets, using personalized, pre-approved templates
• Follow up with emails and phone calls
• Schedule meetings with potential partners and funding prospects

Volunteer English, French & Spanish Language Tech Webinar Supervisors (PT)

4 - 35 hours/week – Afternoon, evening & weekend shifts available

Qualifications:
• Must have access to a computer during scheduled hours.
• Must speak fluent English and/or French and/or Spanish.
• Experience teaching technology to older adults is an asset.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing webinar schedules
• Assign one mentor as the lead and provide him/her with the lesson and instructions
• Supervise webinars
• Be available to schedule yourself to Lead a webinar in if no suitable mentor is available
• Prepare a report after each webinar with notes on sound bites that should be considered for Social Media

Volunteer Social Media Analyst (PT or FT)

10-35 hours/week - can work around your own schedule

Qualifications:
• Must have access to a computer.
• Must speak write fluent English.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of keyword research, SEO and Google Analytics.
• Must be currently enrolled in or hold degree/diploma in a post-secondary school.

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate user engagement (e.g. click-through and bounce rates) and report on web traffic from all platforms
• Generate and promote SEO strategies, including optimizing keywords in content marketing projects
• Determine our target audience behavior and recommend ways to increase our target audience
• Liaise with the Social Media Content Coordinator to create a cohesive strategy across all social networks to increase brand awareness & more
