For 50 years, the Canadian Liver Foundation (CLF) is dedicated to reducing the incidence and impact of all liver diseases. Be involved with the organization that has helped uncover breakthroughs like the discovery of the gene responsible for Wilson Disease or the new cure for hepatitis C, consider serving on a committee. This year marks our 50th Anniversary Celebration, to commemorate our anniversary, we are celebrating Casino Royal style at our LIVERight Gala fundraiser in support of children and youth affected by liver disease.
LIVERight Gala ? Volunteer Profiles
Roles and Responsibilities (Approximately 1-3 hour weekly commitment)
This person is the master motivator behind the Gala. The Chair will recruit volunteers and serve as the liaison between the committee and the CLF. He/she will mobilize sub-committees to complete specific tasks and will champion this event as a community-builder while highlighting how the event impacts liver research and education.
