Volunteer opportunities available:

Committee Vice Chair
Committee Secretary
Community Fundraising
Event Planning & Logistics
Volunteer Recruitment & Screening
Google Website Design & Maintenance

Skills Required:

Effective communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English
Genuine compassion for people
Must be dependable and punctual
A willingness to learn and work as part of a team
Be courteous and personable when dealing with the public, the organization, cadets, and volunteers
Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer are preferred
Excellent customer service skills

What to expect?

Min. age to volunteer: 19
Police check required: Yes
Orientation and training provided
Volunteer roles and committee meetings take place outside normal business hours (evenings and some weekends) through to August 31, 2021
Remote work/online work from home temporarily during COVID-19
Commitment: 20 hours per month including two 1.5 hour meetings
