Join the team / volunteer with any of the regional Ekal chapters across Canada and work on tasks such as fundraising, local community events, raising awareness, social media, website maintenance, news and events, youth engagement, donor outreach, corporate outreach etc.

The Ekal movement aims to eradicate illiteracy from tribal areas of India and Nepal through rural development based on the criteria of equality and inclusiveness across all sections of society.

Ekal Vidyalaya is a people's movement with a vision to facilitate the process of empowering rural and tribal communities based on the concept of social, economic and gender equality.

Ekal's mission is the holistic development of villages through the empowerment of tribal and rural communities in India with basic education, digital literacy, skill development, health awareness, learning modern agricultural practices and rural entrepreneurship.

Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation of Canada was registered as an Ontario Corporation in 2006 and attained charitable status in Canada in 2007. Charity Registration Number is 853421162RR0001.
