Description

Cyber-Seniors is an intergenerational program that trains young people to be tech mentors for senior citizens. The ability to use online communication applications to stay connected is vital for older adults and other vulnerable people. Helping a senior learn to use transactional websites to order groceries, pharmaceuticals, food delivery, etc., will make a big difference in allowing them to remain self-sufficient from the safety of their home.

In the best of times, digital literacy can be life-altering; in times like these, it can be life-saving.

This part-time position involves 10 - 20 hours / week. Work on your own schedule.

To qualify, you must:

· have access to a cell phone and computer during scheduled
hours.

· Must speak and write fluent English.

· Must have relevant past work experience or be currently enrolled in
or hold a degree/diploma from a post-secondary school.

Your responsibilities will be:

· To serve as first responder to general inquiries

· Identify and flag key opportunities and refer to appropriate staff lead

· Oversee tracking and reporting of organization metrics to share at
weekly staff meetings

· Review and support ongoing updates to program, marketing, and
communications materials

· Assist with Social Media and Newsletter

· Data entry and report running for Client Management Software

· General office support
