Toronto Mozart Players' Concert

The Mozart Project

The Mozart Project is a nationally recognized, charitable organization inspired by the universality, accessibility, diversity and beauty of Mozart?s vast repertoire. The Mozart Project operates the Toronto Mozart Players, a professional ensemble dedicated to musical excellence, to engage audiences in innovative concerts of music by Mozart and related repertoire. The Mozart Project also provides professional development and performance opportunities to talented emerging artists, and promotes music by Canadian composers. The Mozart Project aims to build connections within and between communities through the unifying and universal qualities of great live music performances.

Toronto Mozart Players

The Toronto Mozart Players are composed of professional solo, chamber and orchestral musicians dedicated to performance of the highest calibre. Specializing in the music of Mozart and his contemporaries, the Toronto Mozart Players perform a variety of repertoire from the early eighteenth century to the twenty-first century under the direction of David Bowser.

The Toronto Mozart Players present concerts which are varied, alternating chamber and orchestral works and featuring exceptional Canadian vocal and instrumental soloists. The repertoire is presented with informative introductions drawing connections among the compositions. Interspersed in the programs, these brief discussions explore Mozart?s life, relationships and inspirations, often finding new meaning for today?s audiences and musicians alike.

Our upcoming concert will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Church of the Redeemer (Bloor and Avenue Rd).
