Key responsibilities for this role include:
Works with the senior executive team to conceptualize Toronto's overall marketing initiatives.
Creates the marketing department's yearly, monthly and weekly calendars; delegates, oversees, and monitors their implementation; takes on executional duties when required.
Leads, fosters and coaches a growing team of young marketers; helps evaluate their performance; identifies resourcing needs, and team development opportunities.
Crafts and writes departmental communications; brand champion; assures all department's adherence to the YWiB brand.
Leads weekly marketing team meetings; represents the marketing team in weekly leadership team meetings, and during biweekly Chapter's team meetings.
Works on collaborative solutions in a positive and efficient manner; leads by example.
Fosters open and transparent communications within departments; acts as their department's Subject Matter expert; takes on cross-departmental duties when required.

Proven leadership experience in Marketing and Communications.
Demonstrable experience designing, implementing and executing low cost marketing strategies and tactics; knowledge of events, programs, and public relations activities.
