Description

College-Montrose Children’s Place is a non-profit community organization that provides free family support and early education programs for over 3000 families annually. We offer safe, inclusive spaces for families with children six and under to play, learn and connect in Toronto.

Description of volunteer role:

  • to play with and facilitate activities for children in a busy drop-in program to work with staff and families
  • to meet the child's specific needs to assist in facilitating and planning various activities for children such as games, songs and arts & crafts
  • to assist in snack preparation and serving to assist with set up and clean as required

Requirements:

  • enjoys working and being with children and adults
  • reliable ability to work independently self-starter

Times:

TUESDAYS (9:00 am - 1:00 pm) or (12:30 pm - 4:30 pm)

WEDNESDAYS (2:00 pm - 7:00 pm)

THURSDAYS (9:00 am - 1:00 pm) or (12:30pm - 4:30 pm)

FRIDAYS (9 am -1:30 pm)
